In February 2015 Claire won the prestigious BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Musician of the Year award. Since then, she has performed at many high-profile events including BBC Proms in the Park with the Scottish Symphony Orchestra and at BBC Music Day, where she sang alongside Lulu, Jamie Cullum and Deacon Blue.

Other performance highlights include the Orkney Folk Festival supporting Seth Lakeman, at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh and playing Nancy McLehose in 4 star-reviewed show A Man's a Man at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Claire has featured in several radio programmes including The Culture Studio with Janice Forsyth and as a guest artist on BBC Radio Scotland's Take The Floor with Robbie Shepherd. Last year Claire attended the Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards as a finalist in the Arts category, and was nominated for Scots Singer of the Year at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards.

In 2016 Claire released her highly-anticipated debut album Between River and Railway, as well as embarking on tours throughout Scotland and now New Zealand. Join us in celebrating this wonderful talent for her one night show in Nelson
