We meet Cinderella and her friend Buttons, who live with Cinderella's father and his new wife (a very mean stepmother) and her two daughters.
The wicked stepmother does all sorts of truly nasty things to ensure that her family wins a trip to Bollywood, while Cinderella is left at home to mind the cat.
There is a beautiful Indian Palace called the "Magical Kingdom of Bollywood" where the Indian Royal Family lives. The King and Queen are eager for their eldest son to marry and arrange for a special "Days of the Raj" Ball. Of course, the Prince falls in love with Cinderella, much to step-family's annoyance.
Will they get married and live happily ever after?
